Certifications are very important and can give you an edge when you are bidding. They aren't the only thing you have to do but if you can do a great job at what you do and bring the Certification to the table that can be a huge benefit. What is listed is certifications for minority, women, and disadvantaged businesses (definitions vary from group to group). This is just a sample there are many other kinds of certifications out there.

NAICS: Finding your NAICS code is very important for the certification process. When you extend your business make sure you add in any necessary NAICS number.
